Meet Mellow Chocolate bean-to-bar chocolate makers from Denmark, Copenhagen!

An earthy chocolate bar with tasty and crunchy hazelnuts. Our vegan coconut milk chocolate made from bean-to-bar in our small chocolate factory. Lightly roasted and slow conching preserves the natural properties and flavor notes of cocoa beans. Once the chocolate is tempered and comes into shape, we add freshly roasted hazelnuts grown in Italy’s Piedmont region, known for its crunchy and flavorful nuts.

The hazelnuts are grown on 70-year-old trees on traditional plantations in the Piedmont region. They are roasted as whole nuts and carefully placed on the back of each chocolate bar. Cocoa formula 50% Criollo & Trinitario cocoa. Handmade in Copenhagen.

Mellow Chocolate, a high-quality bean-to-bar chocolate maker from Denmark, specializing in single-origin chocolate.

In 2019, Mellow Chocolate began its journey in a modest attic room with a rich history. Since then, their mission has remained unchanged: to create chocolate of the very highest quality, using just two carefully selected ingredients – carefully sourced cocoa beans and cane sugar.

The entire process of turning these beans into chocolate is carried out by hand in their artisan shop in Copenhagen. Their approach, products, and goals are rooted in sustainability, with a strong emphasis on ethical cocoa farming, purely organic ingredients, and packaging that is free of renewable plastic.
